Lauren Lacourciere

Board Co-President

Lauren came to the southwest in 2015 a year after finishing her BS in Biology from Lynchburg College in Virginia. She took a position with Southwest Conservation Corps working on a route inventory project for the BLM office in Dolores, CO. During that time she fell in love with the area and despite telling her family and friends she would move back east after the summer she never left. Since then she has made a home and community here. Currently, she works for United Way as the TeamUp coordinator for Montezuma and Dolores Counties. Additionally, she works part time as a Library Assistant at the Dolores Public Library. She feels most at home though in the desert where she pursues running, climbing and any other forms of adventure that come her way!
