Since 2002, Teen Maze has been an interactive health fair for 8th graders from Montezuma and surrounding counties. It covers topics such as; safe teen driving, mental health, healthy lifestyles, positive choices, sexual health and parenting, career choices, self-esteem, acceptance of diversity, and other positive activities. The Maze is designed to be informative, nonjudgmental, and interactive while showcasing possible outcomes of risky versus healthy behaviors. The youth exit the Maze through a debriefing room meant to help them process the experience and give them a positive outlook for their futures.
I liked how everybody was nice and non-judgmental.
I liked everything that was presented, useful information, very helpful
I liked how it taught me about things I wasn't comfortable talking to my parents about.
