Who We Are
Our mission is to reduce the number of alcohol related activities and increase safe driving in Montezuma County, Dolores County and La Plata County. We accomplish this by providing prosocial activities for youth, a communications campaign that brings community awareness to the harms associated with impaired driving, increasing alternative transportation options and providing education on unrestrained passengers.

Students Tackling Unhealthy Decisions
Based in Dove Creek, Colorado, Students Tackling Unhealthy Decisions (STUD) works to increase the social emotional capacity of youth. They are a school-based program that focuses on impaired driving prevention and mental health capacity building. STUD is our Dolores County safe driving champion organization.

Montezuma County Public Health Department
We value public/private partnerships. That is why we are working with the Public Health Department in Montezuma County. Through our collaboration, we are able to offer expanded car seat safety services and education. The Health Department also leads an Injury Prevention Coalition with First Responders, Nonprofits, The State Patrol, and Hospital Representatives.

Durango Transit
Durango Transit and SCYC have partnered to bring you the Ride Responsible Program, offering free, safe, and sober transportation after key LaPlata County events. Our goal is to provide convenient, alternative transportation options that help ensure everyone gets home safely, supporting a healthier and more responsible community. Ride responsible now offers DuranGO microtransit services during specific holidays and events.
