Students Tackling Unhealthy Decisions (STUD)

Incorporate an impaired driving booth and a marijuana education booth at two health fairs, one for students and one for adults.

Engage STUD parents and Dolores County School District parents on ways of speaking to teens about drinking/driving and marijuana.

Middle & High School students at Dolores County School District will receive education on the harms and consequences of impaired driving.

Include information on the harms and consequences of impaired driving within the Strengthening Families program curriculum.



Ride Responsible (RR) is a program under the Coalition On Responsible Driving (CORD) and is a collaborative effort to increase safe transportation options, correct the perceived norms in Montezuma County and the surrounding region, raise awareness about the harms of driving while impaired, and decrease regional incidences of impaired driving.
